Inspired by the work of the noted Swiss Freudian psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Hermann Rorschach [1885-1922], Blot Test is a symbol font comprised of 52 fascinating vectorized ink blot glyphs. Rorschach’s famous 10 ink blots were introduced in 1921, in a monograph called Psychodiagnostik. It garnered much attention and the “Rorschach Ink Blot Test” became the clinical psychologists’ preferred test during the 1940s–‘50s. The test reportedly reflected unconscious parts of the personality that “project” onto the stimuli (ink blots) and subjects reported what objects or figures they see in them.
You may draw your own conclusions from these ink blots carefully vectorized from actual ink applied to real paper by the designer Delve Withrington, in the same manner as the original ink blot tests.
